My maternal grandmother, Marjorie Elizabeth Dean (Smith), was born on this day in 1904. These photos are from her 80th birthday party/Dean family reunion in 1984 held at a cousins home in Westmount, Quebec, now part of the city of Montreal.
The party was attended by one of her two surviving brothers and two of her half-siblings and many of their descendants, as you can see, as well as by her descendants, my mother and me.

My grandmother was born in 1904 too, but when she was 80, her mind was already gone, so sadly there was no party for her. Your grandmother looked lovely. It's wonderful so many people came to celebrate.
